About Us
SCOPE - Society for Creation of Opportunities through Proficiency in English
SCOPE stands for Society for Creation of Opportunities through Proficiency in English and was established in 2007 by the Education Department, Government of Gujarat, under the visionary leadership of the then Hon’ble Chief Minister of Gujarat, Shri Narendra Modi.
The initiative was launched to enhance English language proficiency among the youth and workforce of Gujarat.
To date, SCOPE has enrolled over 600,000 candidates across the state, demonstrating its wide reach and sustained impact.

CEPT
The Cambridge English Placement Test (CEPT) is a fast, accurate and affordable online test designed to evaluate learners' level of English and results are aligned to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR), the international standard for describing language ability Pre A1-C2. It is developed by the Cambridge English Language Assessment. The test is divided for Reading and Listening.

It was an amazing experience taking part in the Harmony Poetry Recitation Competition organized by SCOPE, Govt. of Gujarat. It is rightly said that poetry is the rhythmical creation of beauty in words; and to reiterate this, SCOPE encouraged all the participants to recite a poem using all the skills of a good dramatic presentation. I am glad that I won the 3rd prize. I eagerly await for more such events which provide an opportunity to the participants to enhance their language proficiency.
